Our directors, Daniel, Darrin and Andrew each have over twenty years’ experience in property design and delivery and harbour a genuine passion for the subject. It fosters a single-minded, focused approach across the whole team – bringing with it the attention to detail our standard demands.

Daniel Punch
Head of Development
For over two decades, Daniel Punch has been managing residential property developments in Melbourne with passion, attention to detail and uncompromising ethical standards. His enthusiasm and knowledge for real estate is complemented by his breadth of experience in the corporate sector where he has worked in senior marketing and project management roles across multiple publicly listed companies.
With qualifications including a Bachelor of Commerce from Bond University in Queensland and an MBA from the Australian Graduate School of Management at the University of NSW, Daniel is a true industry ‘all-rounder’, taking a hands-on approach to project delivery while providing genuine care and support to Habita’s valued clients.
Darrin Albert
Head of Construction
Having founded and managed one of Melbourne’s most successful residential design firms, Darrin Albert is a highly respected industry leader with over twenty-five years of professional experience.
As a registered building practitioner with the Victorian Building Authority and a member of the Building Designers Association of Australia, Darrin is well qualified to oversee the architectural drafting, tendering, and construction management for all of Habita’s projects.
Darrin’s experience combined with his thorough understanding of construction principles and strong relationships with key stakeholders ensure the homes Habita delivers are of the highest standard of quality and workmanship.
Andrew Brown
Head of Design
As head of Design, Andrew Brown draws on his vast experience and success in residential design to lead Habita’s innovative team of designers with vision and a deep commitment to excellence.
Having founded and grown a multi award-winning residential design firm, alongside Darrin Albert over the past twenty years, Andrew now brings his skills to the fore at Habita to deliver an integrated design capability previously unseen in the Melbourne market.
Known for his personable nature and his passion for contemporary design, Andrew relishes the opportunity to meet with Habita clients and explore ways to tailor homes to their individual lifestyles.

From the early days of Habita, we’ve loved to invite buyers into our office, and find they love it too – meeting the team behind their new home, talking through the plans, asking questions, and tweaking the details to suit their individual needs.
Habita was founded with the belief that property should be a collaborative journey. We relish being hands-on with purchasers, providing guidance and support all the way to handover and, most importantly, beyond the move-in date. This initial desire to exceed expectations has stuck. It still informs the way we do business today.
